I decided I wanted to take the family out for a nice dinner the other night. I yelled for my boys, Steve and Austin, to get in the grand am. We had to take Sapphire's car cause we don't all fit in the Dodge Ram. We rolled up with empty bellies, and just our luck the buffet had been thoroughly picked over by the patrons before us. Steve and Austin were pretty discouraged, but shoot Friday was going to be payday, so I give em $10 each to go play games. Them idiots spent it all on bumper cars. I went over to ski ball, where I am particularly dominant. My trick is that I rub the balls down with some lubricant (usually a little bit of mayo or something like that) before rolling. This allows the balls to slide rather than roll. Much better method for hitting them 100's. After setting a few new high scores and accumulating 996 tickets, Sapphire let us know that they had replenished the buffet. Steve and Austin ate 10 pieces each of the dessert pizza. I had about 8 pieces of Supreme, so that I could make sure I got my vegetables in. And Sapphire put down 9 pieces of just cheese pizza, cause she's trying to watch her figure. One star deduction for not having mayonnaise on the table for dipping. All in all it was a great night of family fun. I gave my tickets to Steve and Austin. Ain't no tellin what them suckers bought with em.

My favorite pizza ever. I grew up love Gatti's and most of them have gone out of business. All I can say is please NEVER go out of business. I live in Murfreesboro and come to Knoxville frequently and always stop here. Not sure about the service- I usually order to go but the pizza is so worth it! You'll always have my business

Pizza wasn't desirable, Salad bar was destroyed. The dining area was really dirty, table and floor covered in crumbs and sticky. Staff was unorganized. Employee picking up plates dropped food from neighbor table on our table, and chair. He just pushed it to the floor and laughed as he walked away. Was not a good first impression. We walked away saying we won't be going back.

Yes it's not the best restaurant in town but the Gatti's in Halls is a great place for lunch with the kids or birthday parties and the staff does s pretty good job staying on top of cleaning. Salad bar and pizza bar looks pretty much like you would expect for that type of buffet food. What's fascinating is my three adult kids still like to have a Gatti's Pizza once in awhile! And now we take our granddaughter there and she loves the pizza and the gigantic (in her eyes) play area!

Mr Gatti's used to be one of the premier pizza places in Knoxville. Now the only one left is in Halls and it is a near disaster. The pizzas are almost always "old" and their taste is very poor. I would not eat from their salad bar. I would not recommend Mr. Gatti's any longer. I have given them too many chances. I can see why they are down to one location and I doubt it will last much longer. A huge shame as I really enjoyed the "old" Mr. Gatti's.
